What to Expect

We welcome all of our clients to attend the home inspection. The average inspection takes 3-4 hours to complete. If you don’t have the time to attend, we at least encourage you to sit down with your inspector afterwards to go over the findings in the report. 

A lot of our clients prefer to show up for the last 30 min or so of the inspection to see first hand any concerns there may be.

If you are off island or unable to attend, no problem, the report will explain everything. All findings are described in detail with pictures.  

Your Inspector is always available to answer any questions you may have about the report, even if it’s months after the inspection. Customer service is our absolute top priority!

The home inspection report is basically ready when the inspection is complete. We use top of the line reporting software that allows us to create an incredibly reader friendly report with pictures as we go. 

However, our inspectors are extremely maticulous and detail orientated, they usually like to go over and edit the report before you receive the final copy. Expect your full report in your email inbox no later than when you wake up the next morning. 

You are the sole-owner of the report as the purchaser of the home inspection. That means you are under no obligation to disclose it to your seller or buyer.

Certainly a home inspection will highlight any defects with your home, but understand that no home is perfect.
